S! BSS,
Being CO of the 513, I find myself using stalls and spins to a great advantage. A Controlled stall and spin are easy to recover from and will force your enemy into an overshoot you by a great distance, sometimes forcing them into your gun recticle.
I would like to train you guys to be experts in doing this. It is quite simple actually. If you have an assailing aircraft on your six, simply pull into a vertical and power off ( You can also do it with full power), then let your aircraft stall or Spin out of control for a few seconds. They may get a shot or 2 in, but if you keep them off guard they will fly past you and then you can hit them.
Generally doing this will get the bandit off your tail and put you at an advantage. I wouldl ike to set up a training time to do this in IL2 with you guys so that you all can become proficinet in do ing this.
Contact me as soon as possible to set this training up.
