S! BSS
Just a reminder that we have a scheduled match with the 357 this sat. We will be flying without icons, minimap, and speedbar, so it will be pretty well realistic for you hardcore types. As of now, i am still negotiating the number of pilots and matches, Im trying to push more so that everyone will get a chance to fly. I have downloaded the map that we will be flying so that we can practice this week for the match.

what i dont like about this message sht, the dam page sends off before completion, lol, sorry for the continuation of above memo.
I need to know who is going to be available for the match so that teams can be assigned, this is full real, carrier take-offs and landings will be necessary. We should practice at least once or twice before sat, wed and friday night sounds good if want, as i said i have the map we will be flying in the match. The match is scheduled for 8pm pst, and you have to be 1 hour early at 357's request, so that we are all ready, with no delays as usually happens. We will be flying on a dedicated server as well, why me thinks they want us there early too, which is fine by me. I will be on every night by 8 or 9 pm pst as usual this week. Salute!

I'll be there in case you need some cannon fodder. You can play me or sit me on the bench. ;D Either way, this will be a good learning experience.

My mistake, the 29th is a friday night, so match with the 357 is tomorrow night, in addition, FA has contacted me and have rescheduled the match for this sat, the 30th. So that gives us matches 2 nights in a row. Try to be on tonight for practice.

Just thought I'd recap:
DATE/TIME: Friday April 29th, 2000 PDT (TONIGHT) DIFFICULTY: All difficulty switches turned ON. (no minimap, no speedbar, no external views, etc.) SCENARIO: Carrier based dogfight PLANE SET: A6M2-21 vs. F4F-3's MAP: bss_vs_bm357.mis (provided to Charles) SERVER: Blazing Magnums PILOTS: 6 vs 6 WIN CONDITIONS: Best 2 out of 3 rounds wins the match. RULES: Chute popping & vulching allowed. If a pilot bails he must wait until his parachute hits the water before hitting refly. Important: even if a pilot is plummeting to his death due to a popped chute, the pilot must still wait until he hits the ground so that the pilot kill can be recorded. (Pilot kills determine the winner.)
Really looking forward to tonight! S!
